Somehow, the producers of Project Runway have managed to go out and find the oddest assemblage of characters ever created for this season. Christian apparently is in LOVE with the eighties. That is all. Are you kidding me? No, you're not, because his designs are in fact awesome. However, I can't stand to hear him talk. I know, I know, he's a "celebrity in his own head." And I can imagine that by the end of the season he'll be a celebrity in my head as well. And I resent him for that.

F.R.E.A.K. And I don't mean that in the cool ghetto fab way. She's a multi-media artist who lives in the desert, and that's really probably all that you need to know about her. She's embarassing to new age hippies everywhere. She, too, I'm telling you now, will not win. Surprisingly, though, her fresh and lovely designs are winning me over despite the fact that she's CRAZY.

Jillian actually studied at Parsons, which I think gives her an edge. She's innocuous enough. She's like Chloe without the good design edge. But don't count her out. She could be a dark horse. She is beyond boring and high strung. I wish she'd bomb a challenge and go home already.

We're in for some costume flair as Chris has designed for Maddona, the Cirque shows and San Francisco's favorite gay cabaret Beach Blanket Babylon. His designs so far have been shockingly refined given that he's a man who makes outfits out of lettuce sometimes. He got screwed by "group project week" though. Sad.

In case you missed it during the fifty zillion times that she told us, Carmen knows fashion because she was a model. Sweet lord help us. Apparently, being a "model" who worked "in the industry" wasn't enough to give her enough talent to avoid SENDING HER MODEL DOWN THE RUNWAY WITHOUT A SHIRT ON BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T FINISH.

He looks like Powder. He worked at the Museum of Science and Industry. He was boring. BORING. And hte judges were right. He should have been able to do something spectacular with that wedding dress. I won't miss him.

I hope thata they bring Jack back next season! I was sad when he had to leave. Jack is hot. Enough said. However, he describes himself as a "swimmer, model and designer," in that order. Swimmer? You're a swimmer before a model and designer? And also, another model. And he worked for Tommy Hilfiger. Actually, having worked for Tommy Hilfiger may just be enough to get him the win. Think about who's judging.
He's harmless.
